Description Bed and breakfast with optional evening meal* in a unique location, at Connel, by Oban, Argyll, Scotland Strumhor is a spacious house with magnificent views over the Falls of Lora, offering delicious home-cooked food. We love the Highlands, the islands and the ocean and want to create a special place for people to relax and enjoy them. We aim to provide: Excellent service Delicious meals Comfort Information, help and advice Begin your visit with home-baking and tea or coffee in our conservatory overlooking the sea, the hills and islands, where you can see a variety of birds, seals and sometimes even otters. Bedrooms are decorated in a contemporary style and most overlook the sea. Lorn has a king-size bed, a stunning sea view and an ensuite bathroom.  Upstairs we have two single rooms sharing a shower room.  Every bedroom has a television with DVD or video. Feel free to borrow DVDs, videos or books from our library. The lounge has a wood-burning stove and piano. You are welcome to use the television, DVD, video and CD players. There is an extensive breakfast menu with freshly baked bread and choices such as  scrambled egg with  smoked salmon, pancakes with maple syrup or lighter choices as well as the full Scottish breakfast. Have a look at our breakfast menu. Dinner using local ingredients is available on request.  Bring your own wine or beer. We are outdoor enthusiasts who will gladly advise you on walks in the area, provide maps, weather  forecasts and drying facilities. Tony is a qualified kayak coach and can lead trips at all levels.  There is secure parking for bicycles and private parking for cars and motor bikes. If you are unsure if we offer what you would like, just ask! We want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. So whether you want to explore the area, wear yourself out in the hills or on the water, or chill out and watch the water flow from the mountains to the ocean, come to Strumhor We can also create bespoke weekends and holidays for you including transport and activities. Prices (Bed and Breakfast per person all year round) Lorn - A spacious double room with king-sized bed, en-suite bath/shower and its own sitting area with a sea view  -  £30 to £35 Morvern - Ground floor room on the south side of the house with en-suite shower and WC - £25 - £27 Appin and Etive - Lovely single rooms with views of the Falls of Lora. With wash basins in the room and a shared shower room - £25 - £27 All rooms have TV with DVD or Video and tea/coffee making facilities *Evening meals are usually available three nights per week
