Description Millstock House North Devon Bed and Breakfast Samantha & Paul invite you to a relaxing stay at Mellstock House Guest House where the countryside meets the North Devon coast. Our Edwardian 4 star guest house offers high quality bed and breakfast accommodation with a warm welcome and unrivalled hospitality. All bedrooms are en-suite, tastefully decorated, most with countryside and sea views and we are only a minute from the beach. We have a fully licensed bar and intimate dining room where we serve our renowned home cooked breakfasts and in the evening we offer a freshly prepared 3 course menu, using the highest quality local produce. All dietary requirements and food allergies are catered for. We are situated directly on the ‘South West Coast Path’ on the edge of Exmoor and Combe Martin boasts some of the best coastal views in the UK. The golden sands of Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde and picturesque village of Lynmouth are within easy reach. There are a whole host of activities on our doorstep, which we would be happy to organise for you, including boat trips, cycling, golfing, horse riding, surfing, walking and of course relaxing by the sea! In fact we are an ideal base to explore all of North Devon. We take great pride in serving home cooked meals freshly prepared each day using local Devon produce. Whether breakfast or evening menu we aim to satisfy all our guest’s tastes and expectations. You can relax in the morning and choose from our 3 course Breakfast menu all cooked to order, in the evening our seasonal menu offers the highest quality 2 or 3 course option. As everything is freshly prepared each day we can cater for any diets including Vegetarian, Vegan, Wheat, Gluten and Dairy Free. Evening meals are served on most days and a menu is available on arrival and each morning. However if guests wish to book for the day of arrival we recommend checking availability in advance to avoid disappointment. For group bookings we can provide anything from a 5 course menu to hot buffet and are happy to discuss your individual requirements. We have a carefully selected wine list and aperitifs to compliment your meal. Our cosy lounge bar is the ideal place for you to unwind with a relaxing drink whether afternoon or evening. Through the French doors you can sit outside on the veranda and enjoy the surrounding country and coastal views. Books and board games are also provided. Meal Times: Breakfast is served from 8:30am to 10:00am Evening meals are served from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. We have six very comfortable bedrooms, including one king size bed, four double beds and one twin room, all ensuite with showers. All rooms include hospitality trays with tea and coffee making facilities, shaver point, hair dryer, alarm clock/radio and a remote controlled colour television. Most rooms have country and sea views. Wireless Broadband Internet connection and ironing facilities available on request. All rooms are fully central heated. Parking available on site. To ensure the comfort of our guests unfortunately we are unable to accommodate Children or Pets. However children are welcome as part of a large group booking. Please note check-in time on arrival is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am on departure day. Combe Martin... Our village is home to a wide variety of inns, cafes, restaurants, shops and services. At the seaside the beach is a mixture of sand, pebbles and fascinating rocky shore, which at low tide extends into large areas of firm clean sand. There are also a number of other secluded bays and rock pools within a short walk of the village. Combe Martin is an ideal base to explore all of North Devon, whatever your pursuits or interests may be. This charming seaside village is in an area of outstanding natural beauty along the Heritage Coast of North Devon, on the edge of Exmoor. Directly on 'The South West Coast Path' and famous Tarka Trail we are ideal for walking holidays, horse riding or just site seeing. You will find the views along the coastal path are amongst the most breathtaking that you will ever experience. There is also an abundance of wildlife with quaint hamlets and villages nearby. If you are planning to indulge in your favourite leisure activity or maybe even just starting out then we are an ideal base for sea and fresh water fishing, horse riding, golfing, cycling, surfing and much more. Top beach destinations such as Croyde, Saunton Sands & Woolacombe, which has three miles of golden sands and is one of the world’s top 10 beaches are all within easy reach. Also included in the surrounding area is Barnstaple, Britain’s oldest borough with Panier market and Queens Theatre, Ilfracombe which has the Landmark Theatre, famous tunnels and Harbourside, the villages of Lynton and Lynmouth and at the top of Combe Martin, a must see is the Combe Martin Dinosaur & Wildlife Park.
