Description Built in 1777, Les Fontaines is a large country house ideally situated on the Aveyron/Lot/Tarn & Garonne borders , only 10 kilometers from the medieval town of Villefranche de Rouergue and within very easy reach of some of France’s most beautiful countryside and villages. In a tranquil location on the edge of a small hamlet, Les Fontaines is the perfect place to relax and unwind.  The luxurious accommodation is set amongst 2 acres of woodland and superb countryside, yet only 10 minutes walk from the local village of Martiel with all its amenities (corner shop, bakery, post office, restaurant, tennis court, church, hairdressers etc.). At Les Fontaines we can offer a choice of quality accommodation to cater for all budgets. All of our rooms are separate from our own living area and have their own separate entrances. Prices include a delicious buffet style breakfast which can be enjoyed in either the medieval style dining room or on the terrace overlooking the garden and pool. -------- The guest wing on the first floor has been refurbished to the highest of standards and both deluxe bedrooms have been re-designed, decorated and furnished to cater for guests seeking the ultimate in luxury and comfort. -------- Our versatile en-suite cottage room is situated at ground floor level, making it particularly suitable for the elderly or for those with mobility problems. It sleeps up to 3 people so can also be used as a family room, or as an annexe to the cottage (on a self catering basis). The luxury 12 x 6m pool, with Roman steps and shallow end for the children, is bordered by mature oak and ash trees which offer welcome dappled shade during the hotter summer months. The pool area is fenced and alarmed.
