Villa Linakis is a traditional style villa occupying an enviable postion close to Arillas. This welcoming villa sits in the hushed setting of Olive groves, just the perfect place to relax and unwind..yet only a short distance from the Blue Flag beach, water sports, tavernas and restaurants of Arillas.

The large upstairs terrace offers far reaching views over the countryside. In the evening, candles lit and drinks in hand this terrace creates an intimate atmosphere while you await the spectacle of the glorious sunsets over Arillas.

10% deposit required at time of booking.

Balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival at villa.

We accept payment by Personal cheque or Paypal.

About Arillas


"There is a bit of a contradiction about Arillas. On one hand some describe it as a village, yet on the other  hand some say it is a resort. Perhaps the two meet somewhere in between and Arillas is best describe as a small laid back resort."  


Getting there.

Arillas in North West Corfu is approximately a 50-minute drive from the airport and Corfu Town (Also known as Kerkyra). Leaving the airport and following the port road you will catch tantalizing glimpses of Corfu Town, be amazed as you pass firstly the Old Fortress (Fortrezza Vecchia), then the New Fortress (Neo Frourio). After the resort of Gouvia, 8km north of Corfu Town, you head off across to the west of the island passing through sleepy traditional villages and beautiful hillsides where the grey green leaves of the olive trees shimmer in the sunshine.  


Arillas.

Facing the Ionian Sea, Arillas sits at the bottom of a valley with a backdrop of hills; snuggly nestled in between the headlands of Agios Stephanos to the north and Agios Georgios to the south. Arillas beach for the past 10 years has been awarded a 'Blue Flag' by the European Community for its cleanness and for water quality. 

Gently shelving it is ideal for children. Lazy days can be spent on the soft sand beach where sun beds/parasols are available for hire, whilst water sports are available for the more energetic from 'Arillas Water sports' and 'Pedro's Boat hire'. Lining the beach you will find a variety of locally owned tavernas providing refreshments and delicious homemade Corfiot food, an ideal location for people watching and cooling of after a long morning on the beach!


Entertainment.

Evenings are centered on the many tavernas and restaurants, a surprising number for a resort of this size! The north west of Corfu is renowned for its sunsets. Take a table in a seafront restaurant, watch the sun going down over the sea behind the Diapontia islands of Erikousa, Mathraki and Othoni.  An unforgettable romantic setting for dinner. 

A few local bars serving beer, spirits and cocktails provide late entertainment often until the last person leaves.


Around Arillas .

For a change of scenery,  follow the cliff path over the Akrotiri Kefali headland north towards Agios Stephanos, stopping off at the church and then continuing down to the small harbour. Ag. Stephanos has a long and sandy beach, numerous bars and restaurants.

A full day walk south of Arillas up to Afionas village is to be recommended.  On reaching the village stop of for refreshment (you will need it!) in one of the 3 tavernas which have superb views up the rugged coastline to Arillas and beyond.  (try an evening visit for superb views of the sunset)

Walk further up the village to the pretty square and belltower, look for the sign which says 'Dionysos' on the wall at the side of the Olivewood giftshop, follow the path past little cottages and a fabulous view and photo opportunity awaits you.  This vantage point offers panoramic views of Agios Georgios and it's shimmering turquoise waters.  Agios Georgios beach is claimed by many to be the most beautiful beach in Corfu.
